Like I mentioned earlier, I stumbled into ActiveCampaign when I was searching for a texting solution that I could use for new lead notifications.
I was new into running Facebook ads and I was driving traffic to ClickFunnels.
I tried their email marketing platform, Actionetics, and it wasn't visual enough or feature-rich enough for me at that time.
Anyways, I found ActiveCampaign and once I saw how the automations looked on the screen in front of me I was sold.
Prior to this point in time, I never had any success with email marketing or marketing automation.

I understood bits and pieces of it, but I failed to understand the bigger picture.
As I spent time in my account (and in the ActiveCampaign help documents) I learned, slowly.
Eventually, I started to notice that there was a BIG opportunity helping other entrepreneurs and small businesses with their ActiveCampaign accounts too.
I also starting to understand that this platform was driving the backend of the marketing funnels that I was working with.
That revelation is what allowed to my quit my full-time job in corporate America and pursue digital marketing!
It took me over a year and a TON of time in front of my keyboard to get to that point though.
In the fall of 2018, I wanted to step my game up so I applied (and paid them $2,000) and got accepted into ActiveCampaign's Certified Consultant program.
Well, that is the relevant part of my story so I guess you have some idea of who I am now and why I am doing all of this.
